Belief Medical (“we”, “the clinic”) is committed to protecting your personal data in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

What we collect

When you contact or visit us we may collect your name, contact details, identification details where required, and the medical information needed to care for you safely — history, examination findings, results and treatment records.

How we use it

Your data is used to provide medical care, manage appointments and payments, maintain accurate medical records, contact you about your care, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a licensed medical clinic in Singapore.

Who we share it with

Only where necessary for your care or required by law — for example accredited laboratories processing your samples, or disclosures required under Singapore law (such as notifiable disease reporting). We do not sell personal data or share it for marketing.

How we protect and keep it

Records are stored securely with access limited to those involved in your care and clinic operations, and retained for as long as required by law and good medical practice, after which they are securely disposed of.

Messaging

If you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are handled by the clinic for appointment and care purposes. Please avoid sending detailed medical information over chat; it is better discussed in person.

Your rights

Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw consent to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal data at any time by contacting us; we will explain any consequences for your ongoing care (for example, that we may no longer be able to provide certain services) before proceeding, and will not charge for a withdrawal request.

This website does not use contact forms and stores no personal data you do not choose to send us. Essential cookies may be used for site performance; if analytics are enabled, they measure page visits in aggregate and are not used to identify you.

Overseas transfers

Personal data is stored and processed in accordance with the PDPA. Where any data is transferred outside Singapore (for example, secure cloud hosting or messaging platforms such as WhatsApp), we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.
